Prologue

Chapter One

" Good morning ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard Korea Airline flight KR763 to Los Angeles. This is your captian Jung Yunho and we have with us first officer Kim Junsu. We are now cruising at 24,000 feet above sea level with a ground speed of 600km/h. The weather on route is fair and according to ground crew at Los Angeles, the weather during arrival is expected to be fair as well with a temperature of 27 degree Celsius. The estimated landing time would be 2pm LA.

On behalf of the crew, I hope your journey would be a pleasant one and that you would enjoy your flight. We thank you for flying with Korea Airlines."

" Yah, hyung! Your captain tone is always so sexy! Stop trying to seduce the passengers! " Junsu laughed as he teased Yunho, who was now setting the seat-belt sign to off.

" Yah! I'm always sexy " Yunho replied, bursting with laughter while unbuckling himself. " Another long flight, i wonder what new movies there are today. "

" Oh oh oh! I think The Dark Knight is released here already! ZOMG. I am sooo going to watch that like again and again and again! Though i've watched it like 10 times, i shall watch it again and again and again!!! " screamed Junsu who flailing his hands wildly while bouncing up and down enthusiastically on his seat.

" Relax su! Yah! stop flailing your arms! its distracting! "

" Hey! Any drinks for the both of you? " Kim Heechul, the commanding steward of the plane popped his head into the cockpit. His signature lopsided grin stretched over his delicate and pretty features. Walking towards the two pilots, he did cut a pretty hot sight, looking ever so smart in his tailored suit, ' Inflight Supervisor ' was spelt across the little golden pin on his breast pocket.

" Ugh, hyung! its horrendous how many times we have to share a flight! " Junsu declared, faking a sulk and waving his hands around to show his apparent distress.

" Yahh! You babo! " Heechul snapped as the two pilots burst out in laughter, laughing at their success in irritating Heechul.

" Um, the usual! " Yunho offered when he finally managed to stop his laughing, Junsu, on the other hand was still reverting with laughter, thrashing about crazily on his seat. " How's the load today? "

" Pretty full, Ryorin's here too. Oh, and there's two stewards we haven't flown with before though. "

" Really? Good to make more friends, we should ask them along out for dinner later. "

" I WANT LEMON TEA! " Junsu managed to croak out inbetween his muffled laughter, afraid of having his laughter escape the cockpit and travel towards the resting passengers. A complaint isnt something very lovely to have.

" I wonder how you ever managed to become a pilot! You must have bribed the interviewer. And, no, i'm not going to give you your lemon tea! " Heechul said as he pretended to leave, sticking his tongue out at Junsu. On normal days, Junsu would gladly love to have a tongue-sticking competition with Heechul, but not this time though, he was too afraid of really being left with nothing to drink and possibly worse, nothing to eat.

" Hyung! I was just joking ah! " whined the now lip-pouting Junsu, already having his unbelievably cute expression plastered all over his face.

" EH! Stop giving me that stupid face of yours! "
" Aw, please! " Junsu said, pouting his lips out even more.
" Yah! fine. "

" Hey Min! Hurry up! Get the damn cart out! "
" Argh, stop hurrying me Jae! I'm working on it! " Changmin said as he pulled against the cart which wasn't budging one bit. " Yah! whats up with this damn cart! " He said as he tugged even harder at the 110kg cart, obviously frustrated by its un-cooperativeness. He was just about to kick it when someone offered him some help. A stewardess reached for the cart, and within a few mere seconds, the cart was dislodged.

" You forgot to release the handbrakes, " she explained, laughing heartily as she pushed the cart around, loading the heated food trays onto the cart.

" Ah, thats so embarrassing! Thanks anyway " Changmin said, taking a closer look at his colleauge that just helped him. The stewardess was still smiling cheerfully to herself, apparently finding Changmin's little incident very amusing.

" Hey, i believe its the first time we're flying together yeah? I'm Shim Changmin by the way, but you can just call me Min if you want, " Changmin offered, hoping that he didn't sound too silly.

" Yup! I think its the first time too, I'm Ryorin by the way, Jeon Ryorin. " Ryorin replied, looking up towards the tall, handsome, well built man. " Yah! i could do with some help you know! " she teased, laughing yet again.

" Sir, what would you like to have for lunch? There's the stuffed chicken, poached salmon with berry sauce and the grilled beef. " Smiled Jaejoong as he proceeded down the aisle, asking every passenger the same question, a smile being a permanent fixture on his beautiful near-perfect face. At every aisle, the female and sometimes, even male passengers, would turn to ogle at this unbelievably hot steward serving them and occasionally, even attached female passengers would blantantly ogle at him while their often helpless male companions would be just left to stare angrily at him. At this aisle, the passenger he was serving did have some issues with Jaejoong because his wife was way too obviously ogling at this gorgeous steward infront of her.

" Salmon! " The man snapped, eager to get Jaejoong to proceed down the aisle, out of his wife's sight before she started having second thoughts about her decision of getting married to him. " And my <i>wife</i> here would love to have the chicken. " The man said, placing heavy emphasis on the word wife.

" Enjoy your meal sir, mam. " Jaejoong wished, pushing his cart further down the aisle, with several pairs of eyes following him. After serving all the passengers of his lane, he pushed his now much lighter and empty cart back towards the curtained section, eager to escape from the eyes of the passengers. He was used to it, but it still did make him a little uncomfortable to have so many pairs of eyes looking at you all over.

" Gosh, finally some rest time. " Changmin cried as he sat down on his seat, letting his poor tired legs take a rest. Ryorin was still busy cleaning up the cart and locking it right back to where it was taken from, making sure that the tray wouldn't roll away if they were to encounter any turbulence. Right then, Jaejoong entered, pushing his cart
towards the storage area. " Hey jae! Meet Ryorin, first time we're meeting her eh. "

" Hey, I'm Ryorin. " Ryorin introduced herself, a bright smile on her pretty face.
" Oh hi, i'm Jaejoong. " Another warm smile. Jaejoong was surprised by how close he already felt towards Ryorin, she just seemed so easy to trust, so easy to hang out with. It'd be good to have her as a friend, and somehow, Changmin did seemed very happy about that too.

A/N: AHHHHHHHHHHH. I hope it wasnt too boring.
Yunjae shall meet in chapter two or the latest by three! :X Just building up the story a little more now.

Prologue;

A five year old kid once told his father that he wanted to be a pilot, someone who could sit right infront of that huge huge long white liner, looking out of the windows into the wide endless sky, ferrying hundreds of passengers to their destination. To wear that crisp white smart uniform, the sharp black jacket and that awesome hat with the eagle-shapes on it.

" Zoom zoom zoooommm " He muttered as he flew his little toy plane all over the house, his tiny hands circling around the plastic.

At 14, he was reading up on the huge machines, finding out why such huge bodies of metal could take to the sky, carrying with them hundreds of passengers and many many more packs of luggages.

At 17, he asked his father for permission to attend flight courses at the local flying club.  His father was supportive of his son's interest and wanted to sign him up at the country's most pretigious Flying club (he was afterall, the biggest shareholder of Korea's 2nd largest company) but the teen refused, insisting that he wanted to pay for the lessons himself. He had been working part time at a local cafe and has saved up quite an amount. " Your mother and I will always support you. "

By his 19th birthday, the teen already got his flying licence.

On his 21st birthday, he graduated from university and sent an application to Korea Airlines, intending to join the Airlines as a pilot.

A mere 5 years later, he has rised up rapidly in the ranks, being one of the only few to be able to become a Captian after just 5 years of working with the airline.
